DERRICK & TRACY VAN PELT

Please pray for a friend of mine. Derrick Van Pelt and his wife Tracy. He told me (by e-mail) he and Tracy was in Church (she has been married before and has 2 kids and this is his first marriage) has separated. He and Tracy go to Church and they invited a couple to Church they were trying to help out, which was one of Tracy's good friend introduced her to her ex. So Tracy is living with this guy. Derrick doesn't understand what happened. She kicked him out of the house, destroyed or took a bunch of his belongings, had him locked up for entering his own house (told the police he was breaking and entering) and turn the 2 kids which he loves dearly against him. The week she did all this she was teaching vacation bible school. He's depressed and confused by all this happenings. One thing he really wanted was for his family to be involved in Church because he felt this was the way to help them be a stronger family. Sadly it tore them apart. He's confused on how this happened around Church and GOD. He know's he has a loving GOD and he has seen him through a lot and he owes his life to him but can't understand why this happened. He did his best in his marriage and went above and beyond to make it work. He needs prayer to get a better understanding on this issue. He has moved back from High Point NC to Landis, NC. A friend invited him to Church today (Sunday) and he said it was kind of tough because he doesn't want to go but he's going anyway. He said it was easy to give up on GOD right now but feels God has his reasons but he can't understand it. I have his e-mail address if anyone would like to e-mail him with encouragement. I worked with him when I was in NC and after you get to know Derrick he's a real nice person but he's hard to get to know at first. But if you need a friend he's there. We have kept in touch and he's had heart operation about a yr ago I think now. Could've died but God spared him.
