I have been having MS problems for the last few months. It ended me up in the hospital the 1st of April for 5 days. I have been having episodes that I haven't had since I first was diagnosed with MS 6 years ago. My neurologist ran a very expensive blood work to see if my body had built any anti-bodies against the Rebif I have been on for 6 years. God new that I needed to get onto something else that would help to fight my MS and the problems with it that I have been having with it. Well they did find anti-bodies and so I will have to starting a new treatment called Avonex. Rebif you just shot it just under the skin. The Avonex has to go into the muscle, so I will be having a nurse from Avonex to come in and show me how to use it for the first time. First, pray that all will go well with the nurse and my training and secondly pray that this Avonex will start working quickly and do the job it is intended to do. Finally, I am not going to back to work, I will be applying for disability and pray that this will be settled quickly and smoothly. <>< Thank you, Wendy Boone <><
