IVORY WATTS

11/21/2007 UPDATE
Hey everyone! Just wanted to pass some information to you about this little girl. Her name is Ivory Watts. She actually lives in SC. I called Grace Baptist in Albemarle, NC to see about getting an address for cards. The secretary there said she isn't affliated with them, but because she had been so bombarded with calls, the pastor there decided to check into it. They found out that a friend of the family goes to Grace Baptist in Knoxville, TN. I told the lady in Albemarle that it really didn't matter where she was from, because the Good Lord knows who we are praying for, even if we don't have the facts exactly right! Anyway, I did find out that she is currently in Medical University of SC, but will soon be transferred to Altanta, GA for additional treatment. She is quaduparpeligic. She actually lives in South Carolina and cards can be mailed to Ivory Watts, 2912 Hwy 9 Business West, Loril, SC 29569. I also found this blog about her http://www.reachouttrust.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=58806 based on that, it looks like this accident may have happened a few weeks ago. Just wanted to pass this along to you! Have a blessed day! Dana

The little girl in the left in this picture is Ivory, she is 7 years old. In October, she was riding her go cart WITHOUT A HELMET, and lost control landing her under a neighbors double wide that didn't have any skirting. She was stopped by the floor and support beam by her NECK. She slashed her neck from her ear to her larynx, cutting her thyroid, her juggler was torn slightly causing the blood to drain into her lungs, which then collapsed, she broke her neck, & broke her back. She was air lifted to MUSC , she has had 1 operation on her lower back and they found her spinal cord to be totally cut. They have to wait for 2 weeks to operate on her larynx, thyroid and neck. Not knowing until then if her spinal cord is torn at the neck... which will tell to what extent she will be paralyzed.

This little girl is only 7 years old and has her whole life to live. I ask you to lift her up to God in prayer. And if you wouldn't mind adding her to your Church prayer chain. We all know what God can do when we only have faith and come together in unity. I have added an attachment of Ivory. She is the little girl on the left in the first photo and the second one is of her in the hospital. She is such a pretty little girl. This accident just breaks my heart. Thank you so much for your time and most importantly...your prayers.
