I just got the updates back... both Lora and her father, Robert, had moles removed near the same time last month, and both got Good News back that the moles were BENIGN. Praise the Lord!

Lora had a mole removed from the bottom of her foot (a painful place to have cut on - it's only two stitches though, luckily). We noticed it for the first time about 1 1/2 years ago and have kept an eye on it, however in the last few months, it had grown and was changing color. The doctor said he hopes, of course, for it to be completely on the benign side, but he doesn't think it will be. He said he suspects it will be mildly "atypica" which is not even pre-cancerous. He said we were wise in coming in now. Please pray that it is nothing to worry about and also that she heals up quickly...walking is a little painful for her right now. <>< Robert Brooks
